Contribute to new knowledge about future treatment of osteoarthritis by participating in a clinical study

The study will evaluate a potential osteoarthritis treatment that is being developed to potentially reduce pain of the affected knee
The treatment is administered by one injection into the affected knee
During a period of 20 weeks participants will visit a clinic 7 times
During the study, the participants will score their pain level on a daily basis, via a tablet that will be handed out at the second visit in the clinic
The study is sponsored by Biosplice Therapeutics, and is conducted by NBCD in collaboration with Studies&Me
The study has been approved by the local institutional review board, and is registered on clinicaltrials.gov
You will be part of testing a new possible treatment for osteoarthritis
You will be compensated for your travel expenses
Your participation in the study will drive science forward and potentially improve conditions for people suffering from osteoarthritis worldwide
You don’t need health insurance to participate in the study
Your knees will be thoroughly examined and we may perform an x-ray to evaluate the structure of your knee
are between 40-80 years old
are willing to fill out an e-diary every evening for 16 weeks
are willing to set time aside to visit a clinic 7 times within the 20 weeks
have not received one or more injections in one or both knees during the past 3 months
do not have knee surgery scheduled during the period of the study
